Youth Hiking Trip

youth-hike On July 11, Rick Chassey led the youth group on a hike at the Mt. Pleasant Natural Area on Rt. 60 between Amherst and Buena Vista. The hike was an easy to moderate 6 mile loop hike to the top of Mt. Pleasant. The group had fun scrambling up the large rock outcrops on the east and west sides, and they enjoyed the spectacular views once they were able to get to the top.
