Farmville Baptist is blessed with an active ministry to children and families.
Sunday Mornings
On Sunday mornings, we offer childcare, along with age-appropriate opportunities for education and worship. Our Sunday morning schedule is as follows:
9:45 am…………Sunday School (all ages)
10:55 am……….Preparation for Worship
11:00 am……….Worship
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights during the school year, we provide childcare in addition to a school-aged choir and a Bible study program using Group’s “Bible Blitz” literature. Our Wednesday night schedule is as follows:
5:45 pm…………Wednesday Night Supper
6:20 pm…………Children’s Choir
6:20 pm…………Prayer Time
6:40 pm…………”Bible Blitz” study for children
Additional Activities
In addition to Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, we create opportunities for good, clean fun. Activities include recreational outings, and seasonal events including a fall festival, an Easter egg hunt in the spring, and Vacation Bible School in the summer. Our third to sixth grade-school children also attend a four-day Passport Kids! Camp at Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center in Lynchburg, VA.
Morning Preschool
During the school year, Farmville Baptist also operates a morning preschool for children ages 1 through 4.
