We take seriously the biblical command to “raise up your children in the way they should go.”  We want to help parents in one of life’s most challenging and rewarding tasks, teaching and encouraging their children in multiple ways. We also want to give children plenty of opportunities to exercise their budding gifts.

Sunday School

While we begin to resume in-person gatherings, and continue gathering through virtual platforms, we will provide the Children’s bulletins and other activity pages through the links below. We request that you print these to share with your child at home, or pick up a copy when you attend in-person worship on Sunday mornings.

When we return to being fully open, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages that begin at 9:45 a.m. Our Children’s Sunday School class concludes at around 10:40 a.m. with the ringing of the bells before gathering for Worship in the Sanctuary.

Children’s Church

Following the Children’s Lesson during the select worship services children ages kindergarten through second grade are invited to a Children’s Worship Service or Missions Education in the third floor classrooms. Children will return to the sanctuary and be reunited with their parents during the singing of the Doxology at the end of the worship service.

Childcare

Childcare for infants through preschoolers is currently UNAVAILABLE at this time. Normally childcare is offered in our Preschool Department during the Sunday morning worship service. The Preschool Department is located downstairs across from the Fellowship Hall.

Other Opportunities

Each month our Children’s Committee plans an evening where the children can fellowship together either at the church or within our community. During their fellowship they have a short Bible study and prayer. Some of these events include movie night, filling tolietrie bags for residents at the local hospitals, baking and decorating cookies for first responders, singing Christmas carols to the residents at the local nursing home, back to school pool party, and more!
