Jesus Saves! But How?
Posted on February 21st, 2008

For three Wednesday nights, February 20, 27 and March 12 April 2, Michael will be leading a study examining the ways the Bible and Christians have understood how Jesus saves. Special attention will be paid to the various “theories of atonement” that Christians have used to explain the saving work of Jesus. Thanksgiving Baskets
Posted on November 15th, 2007

As we’ve done in the past, our church is providing Thanksgiving baskets for ten families in our community identified by social services that are in need during this season. Amanda and the Children’s Committee did a great job in mobilizing our Sunday School classes to purchase the needed food items for the baskets. Then, last night, during their Wednesday night “Bible Blitz” time, our children “assembled” the baskets with enough food to make a nice Thanksgiving meal for each family. Many thanks to all who contributed to this effort. These baskets, together with a frozen turkey, will be delivered to social services next week for distribution.
