Ruth Patteson Day

Ruth Patteson was honored last Sunday, September 20, at Farmville Baptist Church for her service as Chair of Farmville Baptist’s Social Committee for the last twenty-five years.  A pot-luck luncheon was held in her honor after worship, and she was presented a book of letters of appreciation.

Farmville Baptist is so grateful to Ruth for her many years of service!

Senior Adult Valentine’s Dinner

Last Saturday, our youth and median adults hosted a Valentine’s Dinner for thirty of our senior adults. “Chef” Jordan Whiley (pictured in the black shirt raising a spatula) concocted a wonderful meal of walnut crusted chicken, steamed asparagus, and herbed mashed potatoes. Our youth and median adults were servers, and three of our youth presented a brief musical program.
